Seeking The Word for Direction

How NOT to Find Direction

1 John 4:1//

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

If this list of scriptures does nothing else, it serves a reminder to us that our direction comes from a connection with the Holy Spirit. We can’t find direction from overthinking or from reading every self-help book known to man. When we pray and ask for direction with an accepting heart, God will guide our paths. His answer may not be immediate but His timing is always perfect. Continue to meditate on His promises, shift your focus to Him and watch things align in your life. God will place the answer in your spirit that you need—when you need it. Keep your faith up and your relationship with Him strong!
