So often we mistake peace for a feeling or a state of being when really, it’s a perspective. A perspective in which we keep our hearts and minds totally on Jesus and acknowledge that He is bigger than whatever is trying to disturb our peace . When we base our peace on our surroundings and the ebbs and flows of life, it’s easy to lose sight of it because it becomes just as fickle as situational happiness. But when we look to the only real constant in our lives and allow our peace to rest in Him, it becomes everlasting. So, who better to look to for answers about peace than Jesus himself? Here’s a list of scriptures on peace to add to your spiritual survival kit every time you need a reminder of where your peace really comes from.
Finding Peace in Christ

Peace With Others
Romans 12:17-21// Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 14:19// So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.
